ENROLLING YOUR DOG IS EASY...simply follow the 3 steps below:
- Your dog must have a complete, up-to-date and approved Application & Enrollment form on file. To complete this form click here, to print out a hard copy click here.
- All canine guests must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of current DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus ), Bordetella (kennel cough) and Rabies vaccinations. You can either provide us with a copy of your dog’s vaccination, or simply have your Vet email the records directly to us.
- Your dog must complete a one-time screening/ temperament test with a Doggie In The Window (DITW) staff member. There is NO CHARGE for screening your dog. Please note that we MUST have proof of current vaccinations in order to conduct the temperament test with your dog. Please call or email for an appointment.
Policies & Procedures
In order to ensure the safety of your pets and our other guests, we require that all guests adhere to the following Policies and Procedures:
Behaviour: All dogs must be non-aggressive and non-food or toy protective with people. Owners will certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs. Please remember that your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of the pack is our main concern.
Feeding: If you would like your dog to be fed during their stay, we request that you bring their regular food to avoid causing possible digestive issues (diarrhea, etc). We ask that your dog’s food be divided into separate meals and be labeled with your Dog’s name and any special feeding instructions (feeding time, adding water, elevating food, etc.). Also, we provide our guests with small treats throughout the day – please let us know if you do not want your dog to have any treats. Also, please advise us if your dog is allergic or sensitive to any foods.
Health: All dogs must be in good health, and must not have fleas (we strongly recommend that your dog receive some form of monthly topical flea treatment plan).
Please do not bring your dog to DITW if he or she has diarrhea, a cough, vomiting, fever, worms, fleas, or has exhibited any signs of a contagious or infectious disease or illness.
Any dog with above mentioned signs will be removed from daycare and will not be able to socialize with the other dogs until this problem has been resolved.
Injuries: Dogs are involved in play groups throughout their stay at Doggie in The Window. Play involves tug, fetch, chase or just wrestling with other dogs. Play can result in minor nicks, bumps/bruises or possible injury to joints, ligaments, tendons, etc. Owners will be notified upon pick-up of any “play injuries”. Any serious problem will be addressed immediately. While every attempt is made to maintain a safe atmosphere, dogs will be dogs. In the event of an injury to your pet, we will take the necessary steps to care for your dog. All owners must assume all financial responsibility. This also applies to instances in which your pet inflicts an injury to another dog.
Safety Issues: In order to maintain a safe play environment for the dogs, any dog that misbehaves will be given a time-out from the daycare area. Because excessive barking can escalate the intensity of the pack dynamic, we reserve the right to remove such dogs from daycare.
Spay/Neuter: Male Puppies younger 7 months of age and Females less than 12 months may be intact, but all dogs over 12 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
If a pet has been spayed or neutered, there is a mandatory waiting period after the surgery of at least 7 days for males, and 14 days for females. After the surgery, a release form from the veterinarian must be provided to ensure the safety of the pet to participate in activities in our facility. No pet shall be allowed to return after any surgery of any kind until a release is provided to DITW.
Packages : All Daycare and Training packages are non-refundable.

While we will attempt to notify you of these changes, it is ultimately your responsibility to check back on our website regularly so that you are aware of our most current Policies, Procedures, Services and Rates. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.
